The Impact of Small Scale Embedded Generation on Municipal Revenue

This paper which was presented at the AMEU Conference 2019 explores the impact of some of the approved municipal SSEG tariffs on municipal revenue and customer ‘business case’ and outlines key tariff elements to balance access and cost recovery, until such time as detailed costing studies provide specific tariff building blocks (SEA, 2019).

Small-Scale Embedded Generation Policy

A generic municipal policy document covering the overarching requirements and process of including SSEG onto the municipal network. This typically forms the primary municipal policy around SSEG and can be used for council submission.  The policy document refers to the more technically detailed Requirements for Embedded Generation document, which thus forms part of the policy.

SSEG Application Control Document

Full checklist to be used by municipalities when assessing an SSEG application, covering all of the checks to be undertaken before the proposed system can be accepted.  The Control Document is normally attached to an application as it arrives, and guides officials through all steps of the assessment process.
